Bike from outer space!!!

Spacelander Bike 1946.Having connections in the car industry also lead to the prototype for the exhibit, that was hand-made by the MG Auto Company. It took until 1960 before the Spacelander went in production though. Together with Bomar Industries, Mr. Bowden changed the original aluminum body into fiberglass and added a built-in headlight and taillight. Unfortunately, Bomar went out of business not too long after that, which resulted in a limited production of just 522 bicycles.
